Central Scotland Fire & Rescue Service has negotiated a deal for the accomodation within the University campus. The majority of the accomodation will be in Alexander Court a modern accomodation block at the edge of the campus.
The University's Alexander Court and John Forty's Court offer modern accommodation with each apartment sleeping up to seven people, with a good size open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area.
Accomodation features:-
Three levels - One twin and five singles or seven single bedrooms
- Two showers
- Two WC's
- Fridge/freezer
- On-site laundry
- Microwave oven
- Bedding, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are all provided.
Computer network sockets are installed within Alexander Court. Computers connected to these sockets have access to all of the computing resources on-campus, including filestore, e-mail and print facilities, and use of the Internet for restricted web browsing.
A full breakfast is included in the price and will be provided at Haldane’s restaurant.
A variety of retail outlets are located on campus including a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, newsagent, bookshop and a sports shop.
Cost of the accomodation on a B&B basis is £100 per person for the three nights, including the buffet on Saturday.
All booking should be through Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service as part of the deal with the University we have agreed to deal with all bookings and payment.
Please note - the accomodation is required to be paid for two weeks in advance of the challenge.
